Jewelry is very different from skin retouching. Macro lenses focus on less than 1 mm at a time, so sharp images depend on combining many frames exactly. AI filters invent facets, flatten real sparkle and erase tiny hallmarks. We retouch every stone and metal edge by hand in 16-bit Photoshop.
